O'Reilly's News - March 2005
This week we have had our first inkling of a morning frost, in fact it has been a cool summer....much evidenced by the fact that we have had very few eggplants set or capsicums turning red - the previous summer was the other extreme..... This year I could have grown lettuces all summer instead.....and I have just found out they are a real favourite with the kangaroos which like to come in at this time of year, 'cos it's so dry in their usual habitat - the neighbouring government run forest.
So this is a time of year for us that our work load moderates, after the busyness of summer. We look forward to some rain and the change of the season, with the different types of "jobs to do" that this brings about.
