O'Reilly's Country Table - A
shared experience
Many small family businesses are faced with the fact that they need an additional income stream beyond their main product.
Not being convinced that sticking things in bottles with sugar or salt was the only way to go, we had to evaluate what we could do and what we would enjoy doing.
We began asking what products do we look for and what do we find lacking?
Well of course it comes down to food, to nourish ourselves and others is the reason we farm.
Over the years cooking from such a wonderful variety of fresh produce has become a natural extension of the growing,
it is never a chore and it has always been a fun time in the kitchen! It's great to explore all the possibilities.... of course things don't turn out perfect all
the time and isn't that what rustic home cooking is all about!
We enjoy vegetarian dishes as much as meat and our emphasis is always on freshly prepared meals based on what's good on the day!
We have a comfortable country kitchen and a wonderful outdoors farmhouse verandah. We can also offer you genuine country friendship
in a relaxed and informal environment!
We love questions about our region, its history and all the cultural aspects of food.
We welcome YOU to share our table.
Perhaps like us, you find that your most memorable meals have been in the convivial atmosphere
of a private home. Please let us know when booking if there are foods you are unable to eat or really don't like! We will base our cooking around your needs.
